Guiding Behaviors
Early childhood is a critical time to identify concerns that could impact a child's healthy social-emotional development. These concerns include:
- Challenging Behaviors - the repeated pattern of actions that interfere with optimal learning and positive interactions between the child and their peers or adults
- Early Childhood Mental Health - the social and emotional well-being of infants, toddlers and young children.
If not addressed, these concerns can have long term, detrimental effects on a child's ability to learn, their social competence and their overall health and well being.
